If a little jet-lagged, I’m back at my laptop.

It seems a fortnight was not long enough for Newcastle and Portsmouth to finally resolve their ownership problems, and HMRC seem to have been busier North of the border with Hearts (1).  That’s not to say they have been inactive in England, with Harlow Town the latest club in trouble with them (2).  I’m still searching for the latest on Hyde United who had been reprieved until ‘late July’.

As for Chester City… there are so many news reports, it’s going to take a couple of hours to update myself!

I plan to post some ‘annual awards’ later today – in the spirit of Len Shackleton meets Lord Gnome – followed by an annual review of management trends in English football.
